We have advised lenders, investors, trusts, landowners, tenants, insurance companies with respect to sports facilities, office buildings, hotels, apartment buildings, timeshares, assisted living, industrial and vacation properties. Our team structures and manages all aspects of the real estate transaction from origination to sales to work-outs and restructurings.

Transactions we have worked on include: loan modifications, equity transfers, short sales, deeds lieu of foreclosure, casualty and condemnation issues, environmental issues, and receiverships.  We provide clients with value and responsiveness generally associated with a boutique law firm.

Because our history is rich in litigation, we have seen many deals after problems surfaced. This experience is invaluable when it comes to the front end and allows us to anticipate potential pitfalls and guides our clients around them.

Leasing
We handle leasing matters for office, retail and industrial tenants and landlords. Where it is beneficial to the client, we work with local authorities, governments and other bodies. In situations involving lease financing, we can assist on the negotiation and drafting in that connection.

Distressed Assets & Work-outs
We provide borrowers, lenders and investors skillful representation and we navigate through the complex issues relating to distressed real estate assets, work- outs, restructurings and bankruptcies. We have experience in loan restructuring, refinancings, substitutions of collateral and other work-out devices and remedies.
